The African Democratic Congress’ (ADC) Dumebi Kachikwu has stated that he is not resigning in order to please anyone.

The media mogul declared at a news conference on Monday afternoon that he will remain in the 2023 presidential campaign “till the very end,” according to POLITICS NIGERIA, hours after the ADC National leadership sided with Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

“I have stated unequivocally that INEC has severely hurt and thwarted my aspirations. But in each political contest, the outcome is not final until it is. You can never tell what might occur. There is one week left.

“I have to admit that I have a really difficult campaign with my party,” he continued.

My first intentions were to reach out to and converse with Nigerians, but my party was fractured and factionalized. In the majority of states, I have no one to meet me where I want to go. And it created a significant issue.

“I thus expressly state that I am still in this race. I intend to finish this race.

If anyone anticipates me to declare my support for a different candidate, they are badly incorrect
